Geoff finished his vet degree at Massey in 2000 and spent two years in production animal practice in Feilding. From there he travelled to the UK and spent two years in mixed practice in various locations throughout England and Scotland. In 2005 Geoff started a combined Residency and Masters programme at Massey in anatomic pathology leaving in mid-2007 for Washington State University to finish his training, teach and study for the American Board exams which he passed in 2008. After a well earned break travelling through Africa he started in Melbourne in 2009 with Gribbles where he strengthened his clinical pathology skills and developed expertise and local recognition for dermatopathology, oncology and reproductive pathology.
Geoff was registered as a Specialist in Veterinary Anatomic Pathology in Australia in 2010 and New Zealand in 2011. Geoff’s local, practical and diagnostic experience with production animals is seen as an important addition to the Palmerston North operation.
