Richard joined NZVP in late 2008. His appointment was largely based on a 20 year career within the animal health industry and the extensive network of contacts this has provided him with. Under his leadership NZVP has experience a very significant level of growth that has seen the company move from the establishment phase into a very exciting stage where new capabilities are being regularly added. These are coming about through investments in equipment, the recruitment of new staff and the forming of several strategic alliances.

Richard believes passionately in the importance of New Zealand owned infrastructure in the field of veterinary diagnostics which he sees as playing a vital role in our bio security and agricultural economy. This drive is also behind the value he places on helping people further developing their skills and careers.
